This has been great for my five year old. Highly recommendHappy that we found this game. We had played the adult version of this game and loved it but it was hard for my 7 year old to grasp the rules so he got frustrated and gave up. With this junior edition he caught on quickly and loves to play it. A fun technology free way to spend an evening together as a family.This 5 crowns game is a great family game because even the little ones can play too. We play this with kids as young as 5 because they understand matching colors, matching numbers, and counting to five. My spouse who is not into games will play this one because its so straightforward.We have been playing a lot of card games especially over the pandemic. This is a great preclude to the adult version of the game to help acclimate and get used to the concept. The treasure chips and large wild cards are great. Is very helpful for kids because there are no more than 5 cards held per hand whereas the adult version goes up to 13 cards in hand.We love Five Crowns and our kids love Five Crowns Jr! My 5 and 7 year olds play this all the time.Our grandkids, ages 7 and 9, love this card game. My husband & I do, too. It was easy to learn. During their Christmas vacation, of the many games we have, our grandkids chose this game every night as our after-supper game.A great game to play with the little ones. I love that it teaches logical thinking.Five crowns junior is a great game my oldest grandson taught me and even younger kids can play. Our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter loves it!
