We’ve played 3 times and the kids love it. The first time playing took some work to get everything set up and I was worried I’d lose them during that process but they made it. The first couple of games we were working out gameplay and are now mostly focused on trying to find the cubs. Anyone under 8-9 years old might struggle a little more with playing this game. Each time we have played we’ve only been able to play a single game but they want to play more. So this game is a win for our family.I picked this up just because of the heroic theme and co-op nature, as my kids are co-op fans (aka sore losers if we play competitive games). The game is well-produced with sturdy standee and board and tokens...and I like it have both male and female standees for the same character so you can pick the one you like. About the gameplay it's fun but i must say it would take some time to learn the rules because of all those little details...but it's the detail which makes the whole thing feel thematic (like the first campaign you need to carry an injured bird back to base camp for doctor).Just one thing that i would like to complain: could we have smaller game box? (at least it's not a square one, but a Splendor-sized box can already hold all stuffs very well)Anyway, i am happy with the purchase!Really enjoyed the first few games I’ve played. My 6 yr old and 8 yr old love it. I like it because it’s not an easy win. If everyone works together on a sensible strategy you’ll win, but 8 and 6 yr olds can’t always do both of those things, so it’s a good challenge.I particularly like that the game changes each time you play it. The ‘fog of war’ aspect is clever and makes the game dynamic, and there are a few sets of goals you can switch between. All in all, I strongly recommend for any budding gamers and/or lovers of fantasyThis game is quite nice for kids. My daighter really enjoys it. The rulebook is not too long, but you should surely read it in advance before sitting down to play with kids. Setup takes a bit of time (and also cleanup). The replayability is not too high. After going through all the missons, you could try to mix them, and increase the difficulty level, or try to use different characters, since each character has a slightly different ability. This was easily the star of Christmas. Amazing game that my 5 year old can join in and enjoy same as the others. So far we have played it about 5 times and I could easily see the replay value is high.I've played Legends of Andor and this spinoff exceeds expectations. Each game session was fun and lasted under an hour. For beginners I would recommend reading the rules more than once as some important rules are easily missed. The kids love rescuing the wolf cubs. Theming is a little weak: there really is no connection between the dragon and the wolf cubs. Similar disconnect with the Tasks. Also, every time we light the watchtower, they say the dragon is “silly” because it’s afraid of fire even though it has fire breath. Setup and take-down is a bit time-consuming (assuming you’re putting the pieces back in the baggies). We all get excited when we play this.It is a very nice and entertaining game, our kids love it.My four year old grandson loves this game! He picked up the instructions quicker than me and delights in the story variations, throughout. I can envisage many weeks/months of him seeking to maximise his enjoyment of all that Andor has to offer. Beautifully designed and manufactured from quality materials, I'd recommend to parents/grandparents of creative gameplay enthusiasts 4/5 and up.Brilliant game. Very well done and with many different quests from very easy to little more complicated. I'm playing with my almost 5yo no problem. He love to walk around the kingdom following the tasks and fighting with monsters. And obviously he has to dice for dragon.I really recommend this game for every family looking for some more sophisticated board game experience.Excellent game to introduce the little ones to adventure board games. My 6 year old picked up the rules very easily. You play through the game once and you’ll have it down. Great quality piece and art also. Highly recommend this game. A lot of replay ability as there are 10 different quests that can be completed and you can later use your imagination and make up quests, remove 1 attack dice, etc to make the game more challenging if it becomes too easy.El juego llegó muy bien y a tiempo.Su mecánica es muy fácil para los niñosPoca dependencia al idiomaAunque es rara la combinación entre el Dragón y rescatar lobos, las misiones son entretenidas y los niños las disfrutaron mucho. Muy recomendableWe have a 5 year old and she really enjoys it. Fun for the grown ups to play too.
